Family law mediation is an alternative to traditional litigated family law proceedings. The mediation process is intended to provide the parties with an opportunity to negotiate and enter into a settlement agreement. When the mediating parties arrive at an agreement, the agreement may be reduced to writing and then serve as the basis for an enforceable judgment or court order.
Over the past 25 years, Mr. Fouste has successfully mediated numerous family law matters involving wide-ranging issues, including marital and separate property disputes, child custody and support issues, spousal support issues, and other family law issues. In family law mediation, Mr. Fouste's neutral role is to facilitate discussion, negotiation and agreement, and to prepare agreements, orders, judgments and related court papers.
